FACILITY

892567.jpg

The STRIKE UP Baseball Facility was donated by Dorris
Inscore. Dorris, also known as “Big D,” was a kind and
generous person in life always thinking of others before
herself. She was an annual contributor to the Special
Olympics, Shriners, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, March of
Dimes, Susan G. Kom
en Breast Cancer Awareness, and
many more. She had the love of children and their
development especially within her own family and the
community.

Her son Bob (Anderson) has a great passion for
baseball and excelled as a player and coaching
throughout his life. Bob too is a generous person by
giving, coaching baseball, and donating his time to
developing younger players in the game of baseball.
Thus, Dorris, upon her death in November of 2022, left a
portion of her funds to develop a Baseball Facility for
Bob to continue to support young baseball/softball
players here locally. In her honor, the building is named
“THE BIG D FIELDHOUSE.” A logo in her honor will be
placed of the facility to remind everyone of her
generosity and caring toward her son and the youth of
the community.
